Dan Nelson is an educational psychologist, and is a licensed psychologist in MN. He earned a master's degree at St. Mary's University in counseling psychology, and a PhD at the University of Minnesota in educational psychology, with emphases in learning and cognition, statistics, and personality. He has taught undergraduate and graduate students at institutions in the Twin Cities, and worked in administrative roles in department leadership, assessment, accreditation, and institutional evaluation. He serves as a staff psychologist at LeaderWise, conducting assessments for organizational leadership and conducting research. He also consults with the American Psychological Association's Department Consulting Service. Research interests include college student learning, institutional research, moral judgment development, personalty assessment, and psychometrics.
