Kathy Glampe directs the Center for Advising and Academic Support at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Ms. Glampe has over twenty five years of experience directing programs that support students to thrive academically, including with the federally funded TRiO programs which provide educational opportunity to low-income and first-generation students and students with disabilities. Her work with TRIO included serving as the director of the St. Olaf College TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program.

Ms. Glampe earned her B.A. (History, Social Studies Education) from St. Olaf College and her M.A. (Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology), from the University of Minnesota. She is a first generation college student. While at St. Olaf College, she was a TRIO SSS student, a member of SARN in its first year in existence, and a JC in Hoyme Hall. Highlights of her experience at St. Olaf include studying in China with Professor Bob Entenmann and student teaching at Humboldt High School in St. Paul, MN. 

Ms. Glampe is committed to providing a range of support services to students to help them maximize their academic potential.

In her free time, Ms. Glampe enjoys spending time with family, watching baseball, reading, waterskiing, cross country skiing, trying new recipes and walking our Bischon, Buddy.
