Greta graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2024 with majors in Anthropology, English, and Gender Studies. She was active in the Notre Dame Marching Band, Concert Bands, and Basketball Pep Band communities as a proud member of the saxophone section. Throughout this time, she was also a student mentor and magazine editor for Triota, the Gender Studies Honors Society.
With many opportunities to travel with the bands as an undergrad student, Greta visited elementary, middle, and high schools around the world to talk about the importance (and accessibility!) of higher education. This passion continued after her graduation; Greta returned to her nearby hometown of Faribault and was instantly drawn back to the college community atmosphere that is fostered at St. Olaf.
As an Ole, Greta finds the most joy in connecting with students who are excited (and a bit nervous) about the college-seeking process, communities and involvement, access to higher education/resources, and all of the doors that St. Olaf can open for them. When chatting with your admissions officers, no question is too small and no worry is too big!
Because she grew up exploring St. Olaf’s campus, Greta loves taking long walks on sunny days and finding herself upon her favorite spot on the Hill: the Center for Art and Dance. The talent and stories showcased in this space are always impressive, influential, and inspiring!
