Katie graduated from St. Olaf in the spring of 2022 with a B.A. in Music and a concentration in Management Studies; she is thrilled to be back on campus and working as a member of the Admissions team! She was a four-year saxophonist and Student Manager of the St. Olaf Band and a member of the St. Olaf Softball team, loving both of her campus communities.
One of her favorite memories throughout her time as a student included a New York Connection trip through the Piper Center. Over fall break, she met with performing arts professionals at Brooklyn Academy of Music, New Amsterdam Theater, Lincoln Center, and more, and topped off the three days of networking with alumni by seeing Mean Girls on Broadway.
If you’re a student-athlete wanting to know more about the recruitment process or a student-musician wanting to dive into arts opportunities, Katie is your go-to person. She loves the lattes at Brick Oven Bakery, pumpkin cheesecake muffins at James Gang Coffeehouse, and blueberry lavendar lemonade at Hideaway Downtown, so come to her with any questions about local food recs!
Her favorite place on campus? Skoglund Gymnasium. This was the site of every home concert from a music tour and where she got to support fellow athletes during big conference competition.
