BIO: What a privilege it was to return to St. Olaf as faculty in the fall of 2012.  Many years after my graduation from St. Olaf, the voices of my professors still ring in my head and I am honored to be a part of this educational community.  My professional nursing background has included many wonderful experiences, primarily in the fields of behavioral health and maternal child nursing.  I have been teaching nursing for ten years and have taught across the spectrum of baccalaureate education.

Research interests include interprofessional education and collaboration. I am interested in identifying best practices to teach nursing students how to work collaboratively with professionals across disciplines as we know that this improves patient outcomes as well as being an expectation following graduation.

I live on a hobby farm outside of Northfield where I currently tend myself, a flock of chickens and my three children.
