My name is Brian Ims, I began working at St. Olaf in February of 2016. I attended Mankato State University and received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After receiving my bachelor’s degree I returned to college and earned a Law Enforcement degree. As Director of Auxiliary and Buntrock Commons, I have a unique role in working with the Residence Life and the Finance Department. One of the highlights in working with residence Life is to see the students mature and flourish as the navigate their educational journey.

I, along with my wife Jacque, grew up in Northfield and are proud to be “townies”.   I had the honor of serving the Northfield Community for twenty-three years on the Northfield Fire Department and Rescue Squad. During my freetime, I enjoy spending time with Jacque and our two kids at the cabin, working on car restoration projects and hunting and fishing.
