Kari Hohn serves as the college’s Director of Title IX and Equal Opportunity. In this role, she works as the Title IX Coordinator, co-chairs the college's Bias Response Team, and is the ADA Coordinator. Kari began working at St. Olaf in September 2016. 

Kari has extensive experience in developing programs aimed at preventing and responding to sexual violence and discrimination. She is responsible for intake and case management of Title IX matters and bias incidents, ensuring consistent and caring communication with all parties and providing them with access to the support services they need.

Meeting with Kari provides an opportunity to learn about what options, accommodations, and resources are available for individuals who have experienced any form of sexual harassment or assault, bias or discrimination due to a legally protected status, or a concern about accessibility on campus. 

Prior to her time at St. Olaf, Kari worked in the sexual violence field at various non-profit agencies. She provided advocacy and case management services and also worked on statewide policy advancements regarding sexual assault response in Minnesota. 

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kari is a graduate of Grinnell College. She earned a master of arts degree in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development from the University of Minnesota. She lives in St. Paul with her spouse, kiddo, and dog.
