I recognize that life is a journey through the valleys, mountains, and deserts.  My passion lies in assisting my clients as they travel on their own journey.  I have dedicated my professional career to working with individuals, couples, and families from different ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds.  These experiences have enriched my cultural competencies and sensitivity, heightened my awarness of the importance of community in individuals' development and wellbeing, and ignited my creativity in working with clients.  My style of therapy is informed by a person-centered approach, through a multicultural and strength-based lens.  I believe that change and growth happen in authentic therapeutic relationships and through empowering clients to recognize and strengthen their own skills and talents in order to become the best they can be in life's journey.

Personally, I enjoy traveling, immersing myself into different cultures, learning new languages, traditions and customs.  I am also an aspiring artist.
