Maggie came to St. Olaf from Casper, Wyoming, where she was raised in black and gold and learned “Um! Yah! Yah!” from her Ole father.

She majored in American studies and studio art, participated in January Interim courses in Manhattan and Italy, and was a student worker in the Alumni and Parent Relations Office, where she worked on homecoming, graduation, and reunion events. She co-chaired a successful senior giving campaign, which sparked her interest in higher education administration.

Maggie works in the Marketing & Communications Office on all admissions-related marketing, publications, and communications.

Favorite spot on the Hill: The printmaking studio in the Center for Art and Dance — “The smell of the ink, work of preparing stones or plates for printing, breezy outdoor balcony, and constant collaboration between classmates and art professors made the studio my favorite place to work, study, and hang out as a student.”
