Meghan McMillan joined the Piper Center in June 2022 as the Associate Director, Ole Career Launcher, Innovation and the Arts. Before joining the St. Olaf community, Meghan was a member of the University Relations team at the School for International Training (SIT) where she advised study abroad students, managed relationships with partner institutions, and served as the primary liaison between the graduate institute and external partners. 

Meghan has a background in international education having lived, worked, and studied in multiple countries. Her international experience includes a semester at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia; teaching English in rural Thailand; and a four-week course in Copenhagen, Denmark. Meghan has a keen interest in meeting new people and embraces the opportunity to learn about cultures and experiences different from her own. 

Meghan is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She obtained a Master of Arts in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, VT. 

A native of Minnesota, Meghan enjoys the outdoors (especially the winter season), cooking, running, gardening, and exploring new coffee shops wherever her travels take her. In her free time, Meghan is a soccer coach in the Twin Cities at both the high school and club levels. Meghan and her partner John live in Minneapolis with their dog, Gus.
