Hello, I am Amra Mucic and I began working at St. Olaf on July 18th, 2022 as the Case Manager in the Student Life Department. I received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Race and Ethnic Studies from St. Olaf College in 2019. My role is to foster student well-being through the creation of data-driven, inclusive, and team-based case management that supports individual students and the entire residential community. This role serves as a primary point of contact for identifying students who need support. Additionally, this position will triage issues, provide referrals, coordinate and communicate with campus partners, ensure follow-up and maintain thorough, accurate and timely documentation. Outside work, I enjoy rugby, refurbishing, cross-stitching, and dog-sitting. Also, I am a refugee from Bosnia and came to the US in 2001. Currently, I do a lot of Bosnian genocide advocacy and education outside of my job.
