Emily has proudly shared the same hometown with St. Olaf since she was nine months old. She attended St. Olaf and graduated in 2018 with an English major and an Education concentration.

As a student, Emily was a member of the Student Activities Committee, served as Vice President for the Education Minnesota Student Program, participated in the student-directed One Acts, and chaired the President’s Ball Committee her second year. She pursued off campus experiences on two January term trips: Multicultural Education in Hawaii and Theater in London. She also worked in the Education Department and at The Rare Pair (shoe & clothing store in downtown Northfield) for several years.

Working in Admissions, Emily is excited to connect with prospective students and their families. She is especially happy to be working at St. Olaf, because the community brings together such remarkable people and experiences.

My favorite spot on the hill is Tomson Hall. It’s where I met my best friend - in line during Week One registration for classes - and where I worked, took classes, met with advisors, and studied in between things. It’s the building that shaped me.
