Chris O’Mara is a Success Coach in the Academic Success Center serving first and second-year students. Chris loves helping students develop the academic and interpersonal skills they need to succeed as students and get the most out of their college experience. He firmly believes in every student’s ability to grow as an individual and achieve their goals, and strives to help students find joy in that growth.

While attending Carleton College, Chris studied Religion, Spanish, and Educational Studies, in addition to serving as a Residential Assistant and Writing Consultant. Prior to St. Olaf, Chris served as an Americorps College Access Coach with College Possible Minnesota, supporting high school students in South Minneapolis through the college process. In his free time, Chris plays and coaches Ultimate Frisbee, hangs out with his cats Badger and Greta, and loves exploring new coffee shops and restaurants in the Twin Cities.
