Tracy joined the The Smith Center for Global Engagement in late 2011 (then known as International & Off-Campus Studies).

As the Assistant Director of Budgets and Programs, she is responsible for:

  • administering the Smith Center budget
  • managing international exchange programs
  • developing study  abroad/away Interim programs
  • administering the program and application software
  • compiling and reporting enrollment data

Tracy received her B.A. in Environmental Studies and Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her M.S. in Agronomy from the University of California, Davis. Tracy studied abroad as an undergraduate for a trimester in Morelia, Mexico and had the experience of living with a host family. Loving the abroad experience, she then went on to live and work for 2+ years in the Peace Corps as a Hillside Agriculture Extensionist in Honduras.  There she met her now husband, a fellow Peace Corps volunteer. Tracy would be happy to talk to you about her service if you are interested in joining the Peace Corps.

Students and parents are encouraged to contact Tracy with any financial questions or concerns about studying abroad/away.
