I come from the beautiful northern capital of Russia – Saint - Petersburg.

I hold an MA in Linguistics and Teaching and I have been teaching for the last 10 years. I instruct all levels of Russian language.

What I enjoy most about teaching is getting to know the students well. I love speaking Russian to my students, and I am most happy when interacting with students, both in and out of the classroom setting.

My current research is focused on second language teaching methodology and assessment. I am interested in Pedagogy, Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, and Teaching Russian as a Second Language.

Outside of class, I frequently organize field trips to the Russian-language related events like watching Russian ballets, operas, musicals and theater performances. Students and I have also been to the Museum of Russian Art, Russian restaurant and we even went grocery shopping at the Russian store!

Away from the Hill, I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting my relatives in Russia, listening to classical music and watching Russian ballet!
