My name is Natalie Peterson and I am a doctoral student working at the Counseling Center. I am currently in my third year in the Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program at Augsburg University. Prior to this, I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota (2024). I also have experience working in an inpatient mental health unit, an ABA program for young children, and completing psychological evaluations in private practice.
I aim to provide an affirming space for students to discover themselves and ways to navigate mental health concerns, transitions to adulthood, and everyday stress. Using a person-centered approach, I enjoy working with students experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and other mental health challenges. In doing so, I aim to support and advocate for students to help them be their best selves.
In my down time, I enjoy hiking, doing small art projects, and spending time with my family and dog.
