This is my second year at St. Olaf College and I am excited to be here and back to teaching in person. I recently completed my PhD at University at Albany. Before that, I did my undergrad at Baylor in Texas and masters at Loyola University Chicago. I am originally from Michigan (so it is nice to be back in the midwest again!). My research is in algebraic combinatorics where many models are made up of arrangements of numbers in boxes; it may look like I am playing an odd version of Sudoku, but I promise that I am doing math! I am teaching Abstract Algebra I and II this spring, so come by my office if you have math questions, want to chat about my numbers in boxes (Kashiwara crystals and Young Tableau), or just want to say hi!
