I teach intermediate to upper-level Spanish courses, from 231 to 399. I have also taught the Latin American capstone course with a FLAC (Foreign Languages Across the Curriculum) component in Spanish and have taught Spanish 233 in Ecuador over the January Interim.

I love sharing with students of all levels and abilities the richness of texts written for native speakers of Spanish. Engaging in dynamic discussion with students is stimulating, but I'm just as gratified by remaining on the sidelines and getting the opportunity to hear and see what students can do without me!

My research focuses on contemporary Argentine theatre, theatre in response to dictatorship, and Armenian collective memory in Argentina.
