Hello! My name is Lacy Williams, I use she/her/hers pronouns! I’m so stoked to be back on the Hill this time as a professional staff member! I started working for St. Olaf in July of 2021! I graduated from St. Olaf in 2021 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion! During my time as a student at St. Olaf I was involved in all things choral music including directing the German Choir, being a student conductor, manager for Viking Chorus, being President of Chapel Choir, and being in every major choral ensemble minus the St. Olaf Choir! I was also heavily involved in Residence Life as a JC in Hill-Kitt, an RA in Mellby and an SHC in Hoyme! While I may have graduated during COVID, my enthusiasm for St. Olaf has never been challenged! I adore St. Olaf and I want to help make it a better place for everyone! My goal as an Area Coordinator is to create a safe and supportive space on campus where students can thrive both academically and socially. Since I am an Ole, I know what it means to be a part of this culture, and I want to help students navigate through the challenges they may face. I want to continue my work with diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism to help myself grow as well as those around me. St. Olaf is the perfect place for that growth to continue. A final fun fact about me is that I have two lovely cats, Fish Sticks and Potato Chips (Fish n’ Chips ha! Get it?!). They are pretty cute and a really great excuse to come say hi!
