Anabelle Xiong is a Student Success Coach with the Center for Advising and Academic Support. Her role is to advise and inform students of the many resources available to them on St. Olaf’s campus. Anabelle is passionate about providing holistic advising to help students achieve their post-secondary educational goals.

Anabelle earned her B.A. (Social Work) from St. Olaf College. She was a first generation, low-income student. She has gained a lot of insight from her lived experience on St. Olaf’s campus and she hopes to use this to better serve the students at St. Olaf.

Anabelle also brings experience from her work with federally funded TRIO programs on St. Olaf’s campus (Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound, Student Support Services, and McNair Scholars). Her time with these TRIO programs has helped to better prepare her to work with students from first generation and low-income students.

Outside of being a success coach, Anabelle enjoys crocheting, going for walks, and being in the presence of her loved ones.
