Fulton, Hillard earn All-Academic Honors

St. Olaf men's cross country standouts Kelly Fulton (So., Billings, Mont./Senior) and Rob Hillard (Sr., Columbia, Mo./Hickman) earned All-Academic Honors for outstanding athletic and academic achievement.

Each met the criteria by attaining a a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above and finishing in the top 25 percent of the region in competition.

The St. Olaf men's team also earned All-Academic status, which is awarded to teams with a cumulative GPA at or above 3.1. The Oles had a team GPA of 3.33.

The team ran to a 21st place finish at the NCAA Championships hosted by St. Olaf on November 23. The Oles finished second at the MIAC Championships, but edged Carleton in a fourth-place tiebreaker at the Midwest Regional to qualify for the Championships.
