Wisconsin man turns to St. Olaf for expertise on Hardanger fiddle

The national instrument of Norway, the Hardanger fiddle, is enjoying an unprecedented revival in the United States, particularly in the Upper Midwest. St. Olaf Professor of Music Andrea Een, who teaches Hardanger lessons at St. Olaf and is herself considered among the country's finest players, befriended a Wisconsin fiddle maker who is helping her spread the sweet Hardanger music.
