"Perpetua," to be first theater production of the year at St. Olaf

Perpetua, the first theater production of the year, will run through Saturday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m., with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 16-17). The play, showing in Haugen theater, is directed by Karen Peterson Wilson. To reserve tickets click on Attending Performances and select "Requesting Tickets."

"Perpetua" a play in two acts with four characters, centers around two sisters who are dealing with the recent death of their father. The setting is a curio shop high on the Oregon coast, where the two sisters not only unravel mysteries about who their father was but they find each other. This is a new play and is the first to be produced as part of a new national college collaboration with the Playwrights' Center. Following the Saturday, Oct. 16 matinee performance there will be a post-show discussion including the playwright, Vincent Delaney and representatives of the Playwrights' Center.
