Celebrated ensembles to perform Randall Thompson's "The Peaceable Kingdom"

Performed at Orchestra Hall at 4:00 pm on October 10, 2004, Randall Thompson's "The Peaceable Kingdom" is a moving exploration of conflict and reconciliation. Sung by two hundred voices -- the VocalEssence Chorus, directed by Philip Brunelle, and America's premier college chorus, The St. Olaf Choir, directed by Anton Armstrong '78 -- it will be the finale of an afternoon of exquisite a cappella music.
