Rebecca Busch '05, a senior nursing major from St. Paul, Minn., has been awarded a $2,500 CampusRN-AACN Scholarship from the American Association of College Nursing. CampusRN is an organization that assists nursing students with their transition from college into the work force. Only six recipients receive the national scholarship, which is available to both baccalaureate and graduate nursing students.

"I am honored to have been chosen for the scholarship and credit the accomplishment to the nursing program at St. Olaf that has given me so many wonderful learning experiences and opportunities," says Busch, who hopes to work in the pediatric field after graduating. This past summer Busch served as an intern in the neuro-rehab unit at Gillette Children's hospital in St. Paul. "It was challenging and rewarding to support families through their children's recoveries from brain and spinal cord injuries," she said.
