Volunteer Network offers a Halloween party for area children
October 28, 2004
The Volunteer Network student organization at St. Olaf College is sponsoring a pre-Halloween party for elementary-school-aged and pre-school children from Northfield and surrounding communities. The party will take place in Ytterboe Hall from 4 to 6 p.m. with free parking in the Buntrock, Rand and Skoglund lots.
Children should come in costume and bring along a bag for prizes. There will be activities such as pumpkin and face painting, cookie decorating, a limbo contest, "fishing" for prizes and of course, costume judging. After the party, children are invited to go trick or treating in the residence halls.
