St. Olaf to host 'China Town Hall' webcast

St. Olaf is one of 40 sites across the nation that will participate in a live webcast of the "China Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections" event Tuesday. The webcast and following question-and-answer session will feature Kurt M. Campbell, U.S. assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs. His presentation will be followed by St. Olaf guest speaker Daniela Salaverry, former China program co-director at Pacific Environment in San Francisco, who will present “Can China Go Green? Environmental Opportunities and Challenges Across China.”

The event is free and open to the public.
