Assistant Professor of English Jennifer Kwon Dobbs recently co-authored an opinion piece in The Korea Times that suggests how South Korean adoption laws might be improved. "With the international trend clearly turning toward domestic solutions and family preservation," the authors write, "we may wonder why over 1,080 babies went to the U.S. from South Korea [in 2009] for adoption."
