Political science chair, 15 Democratic students study presidential politics

When Dan Hofrenning, chair of the political science department at St. Olaf, wanted his students to get a first-hand look at presidential politics, he decided to take them to where the contest officially begins -- New Hampshire. The group is spending January Interim in the Granite State, listening to stump speeches, interviewing residents and recording their observations in daily journals.
