After two weekends on the road in Wisconsin, the Ole women's soccer team compiled a 1-3 record.

On Saturday, September 6th the Oles faced University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. The only score recorded by the Oles was an unassisted goal from well outside the penalty box by left midfielder Samantha Jensen (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn.). The shot dropped perfectly behind the head of the shocked Warhawk?s keeper. Unfortunately that was to be the only goal of the day for the Oles, as they fell 3-1 to UW-Whitewater.

The next day, the team traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin to take on the Carthage Lady Reds. The Oles fell 4-0 having three goals scored against them in the first half, but manaed to hold the Lady Reds to just one goal in the second half. The first goal of the game came in the 20th minute, which was a big improvement after having been scored on by Whitewater in the first minute of play. The Oles were out shot by the Lady Reds 6-9 but allowed only two shots in the second half.

After a full week of practice and no games, the Oles hit the road again and headed to Wisconsin. Their first destination was University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on September 13th. After playing in constant drizzle on poor field conditions, and several poorly timed slips, the Oles fell 3-0.

The final game played in Wisconsin, was against Lawrence University. The team broke their losing streak with a 1-0 victory over the Lawrence. The lone goal scored came from Ole Kristi Parks (Sr., Plymouth, Minn.) with the assist from Kaia Knutson (So., Fargo, ND). It came in the 27th minute and the Oles managed to ward off any counter attacks by the Vikings for the rest of the match. St. Olaf dominated the majority of the play and out shot Lawrence 28 to 6.

These two road trips bring the Oles to a record of 1-4-0. Their first conference game will be on Saturday, September 20th when the Oles host Saint Mary's at 4:00 p.m. at home.
