Volleyball falls to Gustavus in three games

The St. Olaf volleyball team traveled to St. Peter on Wednesday, Sept. 24 for a match against Gustavus. The Oles played hard, but fell to the Gusties, in three games, 30-28, 30-20, and 30-28. St. Olaf played with Gustavus' big front row attack and made a strong push in game three but it came too late.

The Oles are led by Andrea Drapchow (Sr., Waconia, Minn.) and Andrea Cuff (Sr., Bellevue, Wash.) With the loss to Gustavus, the Oles fall to 0-2 in the MIAC and 7-7 overall. Next up for the team is big Homecoming weekend with two games in two days. Friday, September 26, the Oles JV and varsity host Concordia-Moorhead at Skogland starting at 6:00. Saturday the varsity hosts the College of Saint Benedict at 12:00 p.m.
