Urban journalist fascinated, amused by small-town football rivalries

When the Minneapolis-based Star Tribune set out to discover the heart of small-town college football, the newspaper found no better example than the friendly rivalry between St. Olaf and Carleton colleges, where the annual football faceoff has now become the Cereal Bowl, courtesy of Malt-O-Meal, Northfield's second-largest employer.
