Men's tennis team falls to Hamline

The St. Olaf men's tennis team suffered a disappointing loss to Hamline, on Friday night at the Owatonna Tennis Center.

At center court, Ole Juniors Ted and Tom Nagel defeated their opponents at the No. 1 doubles spot. The victory gave St. Olaf a 2-1 lead going into singles competition. Despite winning doubles, the Oles struggled in singles play. Junior Tom Nagel pulled of St. Olaf's sole singles point - making the final score 3-6.

With the loss, the Oles fall to 2-4 overall, while the Hamline improves to 2-3.

Players in the match were Ted Nagel (Jr., Oglesby, Ill.), Tom Nagel (Jr., Oglesby, Ill), Matt Sobieski (Senior, Mahtomedi, Minn.), Dan Cohen (Jr., St. Paul, Minn.), Mike Matsuura (FY, St. Cloud, Minn.), Matt Clark (FY, Northfield, Minn.), Mike Donohue (Sr., Spirit Lake, Iowa), and Tom Wampler (Soph., Green Bay, Wisc.).

St. Olaf returns to action on, Tuesday, April 8th, against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. in Winona.
