St. Olaf to host annual Easter candlelight vigil

The Great Easter Vigil, a candlelight service, will be held Saturday, April 19, at 8 p.m. at Boe Memorial Chapel on the St. Olaf College campus. The annual event is a collaboration among the college and the Lutheran congregations in Northfield, including Bethel, St. John's and St. Peter's. St. Olaf pastors Bruce Benson and Jennifer Koenig will preside, and a massed choir of volunteers from St. Olaf music ensembles and the various church choirs will perform. John Ferguson, the Elliot and Klara Stockdal Johnson Professor of Organ Music, will be organist. All are welcome at this public event.
