Speaking in Tongues, an international experience

Four international musicians speaking in four native languages, known as 'Speaking in Tongues,' will perform this evening at 7 p.m. in The Pause. Musicians include drummer Sowah Mensah, a native of Ghana who is adept at a wide range of West African drumming styles; bassist Enrique Toussaint from Mexico City who has toured with Paul Anka and Herb Alpert; American percussionist, composer Marc Anderson whose background includes music from America, Africa, India and the Middle East; and Gao Hong, a native of China who studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Bejing, is a master of the Chinese four-stringed lute, the pipa.
