Ole men fall to Wheaton 8-1

The Wheaton men's tennis team defeated St. Olaf on Friday, April 11, in Northfield. With the loss, the Oles fall to 3-6 overall.
Wheaton began the match with a victory in doubles competition, with wins in two of three matches. Juniors Ted and Tom Nagel provided the sole point for the Oles with a decisive victory at No. 1 doubles. Wheaton went on to sweep all singles matches and claim the victory the 8-1 victory.
Players in the match were Ted Nagel (Jr., Oglesby, Ill.), Tom Nagel (Jr., Oglesby, Ill), Matt Sobieski (Senior, Mahtomedi, Minn.), Dan Cohen (Jr., St. Paul, Minn.), Mike Matsuura (FY, St. Cloud, Minn.), Ross Bidlingmaier (Soph., Madison, Wisc), Matt Clark (FY, Northfield, Minn.), Mike Donohue (Sr., Spirit Lake, Iowa), and Tom Wampler (Soph., Green Bay, Wisc.).
St. Olaf returns to action on, Saturday, April 12, against Macalester at 11:00 a.m. in Northfield.
