Softball gets timely hitting, splits with Cobbers
April 13, 2003
On Saturday, April 12, the St. Olaf softball team split a double header (6-2, 3-13) with Concordia-Moorhead College in Moorhead, Minn.
Laura Torgerson (FY, Red Wing, Minn.) allowed only one earned run in seven innings as the entire lineup produced important hits for the Oles in the win. Rachel Colson (Sr., Shreveport, Louis.), Megan Corson (So., Woodbury, Minn.), and Meghan Urbanski (Jr., Circle Pines, Minn.) each had two hits in the win.
In the second game, the Oles were unable to overcome the offensive explosion of the Cobbers.
