Christmas Fest signals beginning of holiday season

The 91st annual St. Olaf Christmas Festival continues tonight in Skoglund Center Auditorium and runs through Sunday, Dec. 8. The theme for the 2002 festival is "Ris?n With Healing in His Wings." As the St. Olaf Orchestra sounds its first notes and the massed St. Olaf choirs sing timeless melodies that offer messages of peace and healing, everyone involved in the creation of the Christmas Festival hope the music and message will inspire and uplift. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, see http://www.stolaf.edu/christmasfest/.
