Tennis team returns after spring trip

The men's tennis team recently returned from their spring break tennis trip. Play began on Friday, March 22nd with the four team Jack Swartz Invitational in Deerfield, IL. The tournament was hosted by Wheaton College. The Oles lost three close matches (3-4 to Carthage College, 3-4 to Wheaton College, and 3-4 to Taylor University).

The second part of the trip took place in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The Oles defeated St. Mary's(MN) 9-0, lost to Middlebury College (VT), beat University of Sioux Falls (SD) 7-2, and beat University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 6-3.

Highlights of the trip included superb competition, excellent weather, the long van drive down to South Carolina, delicious seafood, and a lot of fun team bonding experiences. The Oles next competition is with St. John's University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th. The match will most likely be played indoors at Owatonna Indoor Tennis Center.
