St. Olaf's fastpitch team has lost their last four games. The Bethel College Royals handed the Oles 7-4 and 4-3 losses on Tuesday, April 16th.

In the first game, Bethel scored in five of the seven innings as they hit the ball solidly throughout the game. This, along with 3 errors committed by the Ole defense, was enough for the Royals to take home the win. The Oles began to rally in the 7th inning, scoring two runs, but the Bethel defense finished the inning as the Oles left two people on base.

The second game was a closer battle. Bethel had ten hits to the Oles nine. The Oles were down 3-1 after the first inning, then came back and scored two runs in the 4th inning, but left two people on base. The winning run came in the 5th for the Royals. The Oles could not make a come back and their record dropped to 2-6 in the MIAC and 7-11 overall.

The Oles travel to Iowa to take on Buena Vista in a non-conference match-up on Thursday at 4:00. The Oles next conference game is at home on Saturday April 20th at 1:00pm when they host St. Ben's.
