Nature tour, night under the stars highlight Earth Week events

St. Olaf will celebrate the 32nd annual Earth Day on Monday, April 22, with a week's worth of "Earth Week" events. On Earth Day itself, a tour of the college's natural lands will begin at 1:30 p.m. by the Big Wetland next to the Skoglund Center construction site. That evening, at 9:30 p.m., Physics Professor Amy Kolan will talk about various constellations. Bring a flashlight, binoculars, blanket and munchies for a "stellar time." Meet at the Buntrock Commons parking lot for "A Night Under the Stars." For more information on Earth Week events, e-mail student naturalist Brandi Tanner at tanner@stolaf.edu.
