The women played Macalester College on Friday, April 19th. The Oles defeated the Scots of Macalester 6-3 in a very good match. Almost every match was closelycontested with the Oles coming with victories in most of these. This was the third conference win for the Ole women and brought their record to 3-5.

The women played again on Saturday against Gustavus in a good match. The Oles fought the talented Gustie squad hard, but the opponents were formidable. The final score was 1-8. It was great getting such good competition. The points were hard fought and the Oles competed well.

Next up for the women tennis team is crosstown rivals, Carleton College at 4pm on Tuesday, April 23rd at Carleton. Other action this weeks finds several of the Ole players traveling to Decorah, Iowa to play in the Luther Invitational this weekend. This event is a individual tournament rather than team play and the Oles look forward to playing some great tennis.
