Daymont named Minnesota United States Track and Field Women's Athlete of the Month

St. Olaf College's junior Megan Daymont (Northfield, Minn.) has recently been named Minnesota United States Track and Field Women's Athlete of the Month. Daymont finished 2nd in the 800M event at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in February 2002 and has already qualified for NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 1500M run and the 800M run. Nationals will be held at Macalester College on May 23, 24 and 25 in St. Paul, Minn.
