Mark Buri had 23 points, eight assists and six steals as the University of St. Thomas won their eleventh game in a row at home, downing St. Olaf 91-75.

The fifth-ranked Tommies have won 15 of their last 16 MIAC games and have sole possession of first place.

Justin Bonestroo (Jr., Stillwater, Minn.) paced the Oles with 21 points. St. Olaf has now lost nine in a row and 14 of their last 15.

St. Thomas jumped to a 23-2 lead in the game's first five minutes. The Oles, who shot 27 percent from the field in the first half, would get no closer than 14.

Kevin Fitzgerald added a double-double, collecting 20 points and 13 rebounds for St. Thomas. Kevin Jaunich (Jr., Delano, Minn.) added 15 points for the Oles in a losing effort.

St. Olaf was again without the guard tandem of first-year Pat Fraser and sophomore Cory Paterson. Fraser has missed the Oles last five games due to illness and is not expected to return. Paterson was injured in Tuesday's practice. Paterson could return for Saturday's duel with Carleton.

The Oles play host to Augsburg on Monday at 7:30 p.m. The game is free of admission and can be heard on 920 AM, KDHL.
