Women's tennis drop season opener to Bethel

The Oles traveled to Bethel to play their first dual match of the season on Friday, February 15. St. Olaf came up on the short end of a 7-2 score.

The only two positions that the Oles won were at #3 singles with Beth Erie (FY., Rochester, Minn.) scoring 7-6, 4-6 and 10-6 in the tiebreaker and at #6 singles, Lindsay C. Johnson (FY., Verona, Wis.) won 6-3, 6-1.

St. Olaf was swept in doubles play. The team did an excellent job of supporting one another in this match with a very good Bethel squad.

The Oles look forward to a good week of practice in order to get ready for their next match with the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse. They play at Lacrosse at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 23rd.
