Woodwind Night recital at St. Olaf College, Nov. 12

NORTHFIELD, Minn. ? A Woodwind Night recital will take place at St. Olaf College on Monday, Nov. 12 at 8:15 p.m. in Urness Recital Hall, Christiansen Hall of Music. The recital is free and open to the public.

Performing ensembles include the St. Olaf Clarinet Choir and the St. Olaf Flute Choir, which is directed by junior instrumental music education student Rachel Widen. Several woodwind quintets, a saxophone quartet, and a bassoon quartet will also be performing. The student groups are coached by Music Department faculty members Scott Kallestad, Jo Ann Polley, and Kay Sahlin.
