Oles rebound to beat Thiel

Jeb Johnson (Sr. Wadena, Minn.) had 24 points, including four of seven from three point, leading the Oles to a 93-76 win over Thiel College (Pa.) in the Consolation Game of the Lutheran Brotherhood Capital Classic.

St. Olaf led by just three at halftime, 42-39, before opening their lead. The Oles used a 14-4 run in the opening minutes of the second frame to earn their first win of the season. St. Olaf led Theil by as many as 20 points. The Ole's Mike Ludwig (Jr, Blaine, Minn.) and Matt Schlenker (So., Rochester, Minn.) added 21 and 17 points in the win. Theil's A.H. Davis led all scorers with 29 points.

St. Olaf travels to Luther College on Tuesday, November 20, for a non-conference game with Luther College at 7:30 PM. The game can be heard on 920 AM, KDHL.

The Ole's home opener is next Monday, November. 26 at 7:00 PM against Northwestern College of Roseville.
