Oles Drop Game to UW-Lacrosse, Now 3-1
September 17, 2001
Even in the midst of a loss, the St. Olaf women?s soccer team finds the energy to make a final push. The Oles fell Saturday, September 15 to the University of Wisconsin- Lacrosse with a final score of 2-1.

Kristi Parks (So, Plymouth, Minn.) was credited with the assist. Unfortunately this would be the only goal the Oles would tally.
Lacrosse retaliated in the 25th and 31st minute with goals by Julie Taylor and Jenny Gellerman. The loss came despite a strong push by the Oles in the last 15 minutes of the game. Time ran out with St. Olaf in possession deep inside Lacrosse?s half of the field.
The loss brings the Oles record to 3-1. Earlier the Oles picked up their third win of the season in a 6-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Goals in the game were scored by Parks, Stacy Gauger (Sr., Bloomington, Minn.), and two by both Emily Klamm (FY, Mt. Prospect, Ill.) and Detjen. The Oles next game is their first conference contest versus Bethel College at
