First of five senior art exhibits starts Sunday at St. Olaf College

NORTHFIELD, Minn. ? Seven art exhibits by St. Olaf College senior art majors will be featured in the first of five shows in the annual Festival of Senior Work starting Sunday, April 8, in Steensland Art Museum.
The show is free and open to the public, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Steensland Art Museum is open Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The first Festival of Senior Work show will feature the art of Erik Anderson, Jill Degen, Jennifer Duchow, Paul Godfread, Gerhard Hallgren, Kelly Hubred and Christine Keeler. Exhibits will include oil paintings, photographs, sculpture made from ballpoint pens and computer animation.
Each Festival of Senior Work exhibit is a culmination of four years of study and creative effort by St. Olaf College art majors, and is a requirement for graduation.
The Festival of Senior Work includes five shows ? one per week for five weeks. Other show dates are April 15-19, April 22-26, April 28-May 3 and May 6-10.
