St. Olaf 13th in Sears Directors' Cup

St. Olaf College is ranked 13th in Division III for the Sears Directors? Cup. St. Olaf is the only MIAC school to make the top 25.

Points are awarded based on each institution?s finish in up to 18 sports ? nine for men and nine for women. Each national champion receives 100 points. The Ole teams that competed nationally were men?s and women?s cross country, volleyball, men?s and women?s swimming, men?s and women?s nordic ski, men?s and women?s indoor track and wrestling.

The Sears Directors? Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. It is administered by NACDA and sponsored by Sears, Roebuck and Co.
